St. Edward's Church

Description

St Edward's Church is a medieval parish church in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, and it’s a popular spot for tourists. As one of 98 Grade I listed buildings in the Cotswold area, it’s known for its beautiful rural setting and the charming Cotswold stone buildings around it.

This church is built from Cotswold stone in a Norman style, with parts that go back to the 11th or 12th century, while the tower and clerestory were added in the 15th century. It’s located where a Saxon church once stood, which was probably made of wood.
